Welcome to our FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page, where you should find the answer to any question you may have relating to your booking. If you cannot find the answer here, email us with your question to mail@padosshop.co.uk and we will email you back within 24 hours.

1 - What tickets can I book?

All the available tickets are displayed in the Book Tickets page. We will try to make our tickets available as soon as possible for all our plays, pantomime and shows. You will also be able to buy tickets for Jazz Evenings, One Act Plays, Party Nights and other events as we plan them throghout the season. To book tickets now click here.

2 - What is the play about?

For details of the play or show you are about to book, visit the What's On page or click here to go there now.

3 - When do tickets get released?

We try to make our tickets available as soon as possible and we add these to the website throughout the season. So make sure you check out the shop from time to time.

4 - How much will it cost me?

It won't cost you any more than the price of the ticket you are booking. Unlike most online box offices, we DO NOT CHARGE A BOOKING FEE. We own and administer our own online box office. This way, neither you nor us have to pay commission to booking agents.

5 - Why can't I find tickets for the performance of my choice?

Usually, we make available tickets for all our performances. However, as tickets sell out for a particular date, we will remove them from the website. Because this is an advance booking facility you will not be able to book tickets online for a play or show during the week of performance. If you need to book during the week of performance you will need to call the box office, but remember that only tickets paid for, are guaranteed.  To book tickets now click here.

6 - Are there any concession tickets?

We do offer concession tickets for some performances of some of our shows. This will be shown on the booking page and you will be given the option to select full ticket or concession ticket at the time of booking. People entitled to concession tickets include OAP's, children under 18 years of age and NUS members. PLEASE NOTE: Spot checks are routinely carried out and you may be asked to provide evidence to support your purchase of concessionary tickets on arrival at the venue.

7 - Why do I have to pay for the tickets now?

We operate the same policy as the vast majority of internet trading sites: You choose your tickets, pay for them using your credit or debit card or your Paypal internet account and as soon as your payment is received your order is processed. This way you don't need to worry about sending cheques or carrying cash and queue to pay for tickets on the night. You can just relax and enjoy a pre-show drink before taking your seat. Simple.

8 - What happens if I can't attend or I change my mind?

Tickets are non refundable. However, they are transferable so you can sell them on and they also make a great gift for friends and family.

9 - When do I get my tickets?

Your tickets will be dispatched by post well before the date of performance but please note that in some instances they may take up to 28 days. If you have received an email confirming your transaction, please rest assured that your order has been received and is being processed. If  you have booked tickets at the last minute and you have not received them, they will be available for you to collect on the door.  To book tickets now click here.

10 - How can I pay?

You can use Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, Solo, Switch, AmEx and Paypal.

11 - Where do my credit/debit card details go?

Every time you add items to your cart you are redirected through a secure connection to Paypal, our chosen online payment processor. You can then continue shopping or go to the check out. Paypal will handle the transaction and will forward your payment to us together with your order, name, address and contact details* so that we can send you the tickets. It is a fast, safe and secure option. To find out more about how Paypal operates or to set up your own account visit www.paypal.co.uk .

12 - Do you have dissable access?

There are full facilities at both The Met and The Lowry theatres and you can find more detail about them on their own website. Unfortunately at present there are no dissable access facilities at PADOS Studio Theatre.

* It is extremely important that we have a valid telephone number and email address in case the box office have a query regarding your booking.
