About The Event
Please see below for information about the parts;
Rapunzel - Female, 18-30
Our instantly likable principle girl. She's sweet and trusting but with a feisty side. Strong singer with good comic timing preferred.
Robbie - Male, 18-30
Our handsome hero. He helps his mother to run their failing hair salon but longs for a life of adventure. Strong singer with charisma preferred.
Helena Honeybum - Male, age 25+
The quintessential pantomime dame. She runs Honeybum's Hairdressers with her sons and is tormented by the local competition - namely the exotic Gonzalo. Great comedy timing is essential.
Bobbie - Male, 18-40
Bobbie is the doting son who always seeks to win his mother's approval but never quite manages. There should be good comic chemistry with Robbie as they're not just brothers, they're best friends.
Cameron and Diaz - any gender, 18-45
Cameron and Diaz are the comedy double act who tell our tale. Good comic chemistry and timing as well as storytelling ability is essential. They're silly, loveable, and filled to the brim with energy. Cameron takes the lead, while Diaz takes life less seriously.
Mother Gothel- Female 25+
Vain and manipulative. Pretends to care for Rapunzel but truly only cares about herself. The audience loves to hate her. Sarcastic and unhinged.
Gonzalo -Male 25+
As Fabulous as he is scheming, a Spanish salon owner in competition with Honeybum. He enjoys his own company a little too much and is determined to come out on top.
Villagers, Palace Guards, the King and Queen. All involved throughout. Option to double up on roles. Small speaking parts but included in songs and dances throughout.
